Since the switch is so incompetent (I mean in performance, not saying it’s a bad console) it has to run the mobile version of Fortnite. That means way lower graphics and builds, and no save the world. If you want to play save the world that badly, get GeForce now. If I’m correct on switch, battle royal goes on 30 fps. Steam deck with windows installed is probably the only non streaming mobile option or just a regular laptop. Never gonna happen. Obviously they're not going to do this.
